Risen calls these a mid rise and do seem to sit a little lower on the hip but we would consider an 11" rise a high rise. Inseam measures 31". Jeans have a wide leg fit. These have good stretch throughout including in the waistband. We recommend sizing down one size from your regular jean size. For example, if you're a 10 order a 9 or if you're a 6 order a 5.
